Dual Enrollment: Master of Science in Food Safety and Master of Public Health
Students with degrees public health (MPH) and Food Safety (MSFS) are well positioned to advance in careers that identify, investigate, control, and prevent contamination of the food supply. Examples of such careers include epidemiology, environmental health, laboratory science, food regulation, and quality assurance. The Online MS in Food Safety program provides working professionals with core curriculum featuring multi-disciplinary sciences while also including food law components. Elective courses allow students to tailor their program to meet their interests and career goals. The program’s courses are immediately applicable to students’ current positions while, at the same time, preparing them for future leadership roles.
- Students from all MSFS tracks (traditional and non-traditional) can pursue dual enrollment with any of the MPH concentrations (Generalist, Rural Public Health, Public Health Data Management and Analytics).
- For additional information on specific MSFS degree requirements and application process, visit the MS Food Safety page.
