The MSU Public Health Program is Fully Accredited
The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is the nationally recognized accrediting agency for U.S. schools and programs of public health. Its work ensures that accredited institutions meet standards for education in public health disciplines, ensuring that our curriculum is excellent and our graduates have the competencies and experience to become successful public health professionals.
Michigan State University’s Master of Public Health has been accredited since 2019.
The program’s current accreditation is through July 1, 2027.

Notice of Accreditation Review
The Michigan State University Master of Public Health Program is currently undergoing a review by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for re-accreditation. Part of this process includes the provision of a third-party comment period, which allows anyone, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, community and practice partners, and members of the public, to share relevant information about the program directly with CEPH.
