Natalie Kasiborski, PhD, LMSW, MPH

Assistant Professor

Natalie Kasiborski, PhD, LMSW, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She has more than two decades of experience in public health and social work, with expertise in rural health, mental health, and substance use disorder prevention and treatment. Dr. Kasiborski has held multiple administrative and leadership roles, overseeing large-scale public health initiatives, workforce development programs, and evaluation projects focused on improving access to care in underserved areas. Her work emphasizes strengthening public health systems, supporting rural public health leadership, and advancing equitable, community-driven approaches to health. In 2021, she was recognized by the de Beaumont Foundation as one of the nation’s “40 Under 40 in Public Health.”
