Biography:

Alexandra Willett PhotoPublic Health Focus/Interests:

As a Registered Dietitian, Instructor Willett’s passion in Public Health lies primary in nutrition. She is interested in nutrition for disease reduction/prevention along with increasing (nutritious) food availability within rural areas and food deserts. She started her career at her local health department, where she worked with their WIC and Maternal and Infant Health Programs. Because of this, she also has a strong pull to serve our most vulnerable populations via maternal health, and infant and childhood nutrition. She looks forward to a continued focus in these areas throughout her time with MSU.
